Oxbow 49 opened in 2016, bringing 166 apartment homes to the John’s Landing neighborhood of Southwest Portland.

Guardian purchased the former Willamette Athletic Club site in early 2014, recognizing John’s Landing as an underserved neighborhood. The project stabilized in 2017.

Designed for LEED Silver certification, Oxbow 49 has indoor and outdoor spaces for entertaining. Community amenities include a fully-equipped fitness center, controlled-access parking, bike and paddleboard/kayak storage, a community pet wash station, outdoor community courtyard, and clubroom with a chef’s kitchen, barbeques, and outdoor lounge.

The one- and two-bedroom homes feature nine-foot ceilings, air conditioning, and in-unit washer and dryer. With contemporary touches, apartments feature full-size kitchens with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and ceramic tile backsplash.
